Peptide Uniqueness Checker

Unique peptides are peptides which can be aligned to only one reference protein sequence in database. Unique peptides can be used to identify proteins.

This Peptide Uniqueness Checker checks the uniqueness of input peptides. The reference database is the up-to-date human proteome database, plus a user-defined database (optional). The addition of user-defined database is especially useful when you express proteins in human cells, or virus/bacteria-infected human cells, or PDX models, etc. The results will show whether a peptide is unique in the joint database. The mapping will tolerate 1 amino acid mismatch/indel and will report in the results.

Enter one or more proteins to search for protein information.
Use comma, space or line breaks to separate multiple proteins.
To upload a protein list, please upload .xls, .xlsx, .txt, .csv, .fasta files.
